Position title: Young Engineers Educator-Coordinator

Commences: April 2026

Contract Type: Casual

Contract Hours: 5 - 20 per week

Work Location: Sydney West (Parramatta, Blacktown, West Ryde, Toongabie)

Educator/Coordinator (Primary)

To be successful in this role, you must be a confident speaker, be able to engage with primary school-aged students and be passionate about inspiring kids. Background in STEM would be an advantage but not necessary. Your proactive attitude, willingness to learn and creative problem solving skills will be your most important assets.

Outside of the classroom, you will be responsible for coordinating the roster (eg, shift changes), coordinating logistics (ensure correct equipment are packed for classes) and responding to emails from parents and schools.

About The Environment:

• Grade: Primary - Year 6

• After-School Classes - run throughout the school term on a weekly basis from 3pm to 5pm

• Incursion Classes - run during school hours, hours vary

• Saturday Classes

• School Holiday Programs – runs during the school holidays

• All training, uniform, lesson plans and specially designed Lego kits provided.

The successful applicants (s) will have the following attributes:

• Passionate about inspiring children to be their best

• Willing to tackle problems to make the world a better place

• Confident public speaker (eg, debate team experience)

• Customer service experience (be able to think on your feet)

• Organised and punctual

• A Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain one)

• Driver license and preferably own a car

• Ability to perform light manual tasks including setting up the venue, carry the Lego kits and cleaning up afterwards.

• Completed Year 12

• Prefer but not necessary: Degree/Diploma or studying towards one in Science, Engineering, ICT, Education, Education Assistance or Child Care

• Hours per week: 5-20
